Projects

Here is the first podcast!

In 1998 Birmingham embraced the G8 with a 9km long human chain; 70,000 people from Birmingham and all over the UK were asking world leaders to cancel all debts for developing countries.

In 2005 hundreds of Brummies walked the streets of Edimburgh to tell world leaders to make poverty history. And they listened.

In 2007 people from Birmingham are still caring; they still want world leaders to take action- the world can’t wait. A billion people still live with less than $2 a day.

We recorded messages from people in Birmingham who want to give their voice against poverty and make sure that world leaders take action.

We went everywhere around the city. At the Green Road Show on Saturday 19th May, in Kings’ Heath on Sunday, at Handsworth Library on Tuesday afternoon…

So…
